    Release train

A fixed-cadence pipeline that moves episodes from edit-done to publish on a predictable schedule across multiple shows.

Borrowed from software ops. A release train at multi-show scale is a fixed-cadence schedule that moves episodes from edit-done to publish across all of a studio's shows on a predictable rhythm — same weekday, same time, same handoff sequence per show. The defining property is that the train leaves on time even if any single episode misses; the missed episode catches the next train rather than holding the rest back. Implemented well, it converts a fragile 'we'll ship when it's ready' culture into a 'this Tuesday at 6 a.m.' culture.
