Escalation path
The named sequence of people contacted when an asset blocks past its SLA, with timing thresholds for each step.
When an asset misses its SLA, who gets pinged first, second, third, and when? At multi-show scale, the absence of a documented escalation path means problems land on the ops lead's plate by default. A clear path moves the right problem to the right person at the right time — a stalled transcript escalates to the producer at +2 hours, to the ops lead at +4 hours, to the host at +12 hours. Most studios over-rely on Slack DMs and under-document this.
