    Slicing an audience by demographic, geographic, or interest signals to sell higher-CPM targeted ad inventory.

    A B2B podcast with 30K total downloads might have 8K downloads from finance-sector senior decision-makers. That audience cut is sellable to financial-services sponsors at 3–5x the general CPM. Operators with mature ad operations identify and sell audience cuts; less-mature operations sell the bulk number at the lower rate.
