Transistor.fm integration
Push release packs to Transistor episodes with one approval.
Short answer. Generate the release pack in EpisodeOps; Transistor receives the episode metadata, chapter markers, and episode notes for next publish.
Transistor is the podcast host most-loved by indie founders and small studios for two reasons: a flat per-show price (vs per-download metering) and a clean analytics view. The trade-off is a minimalist publishing UI — Transistor doesn't try to be a content tool, which is exactly why EpisodeOps complements it well.
The integration writes the EpisodeOps Release Pack into Transistor's episode object: title, description, chapter markers, episode notes, season/episode numbers, image override, transcript. You schedule the publish inside Transistor as usual; the episode arrives fully populated.
How it works
1. Generate a Transistor API token
Transistor → Settings → API. Paste the token into EpisodeOps Settings → Integrations.
2. Select the show
EpisodeOps lists all shows in your Transistor account. Bind each EpisodeOps workspace to the right show; future episodes auto-route.
3. Approve to publish-ready
When the team approves the release pack, EpisodeOps writes metadata to a Transistor draft. You schedule and ship from inside Transistor.
Use cases
Networks with multiple Transistor shows
One EpisodeOps workspace handles release ops across every show in a Transistor account. The same producer can ship five shows in parallel without context-switching between Transistor dashboards.
Solo founders shipping a weekly business podcast
The 30 minutes per episode usually spent pasting metadata into Transistor goes to zero. The hours saved compound into more recordings, not more admin.
Private feeds and Patreon subscriber shows
Transistor supports private feeds; EpisodeOps writes the same metadata into them. The access control stays with Transistor.

Common questions
Does this support Transistor's Embed Player customization?
Embed player styling stays in Transistor — we don't touch player config. EpisodeOps writes episode-level metadata only.
Can I use this with Transistor's web pages (the public site Transistor generates)?
Yes. The metadata EpisodeOps writes (episode notes, chapters, transcript) renders on Transistor's public page automatically.
Will this work if I'm migrating away from Transistor?
EpisodeOps's release packs are host-agnostic. You can re-target the same packs to another integrated host (Buzzsprout, Captivate, etc.) without re-generating.
